Yes. Usually, a TeamsID account is created with your business email ID, but you also have a My Safe area that belongs to you and not your Organization.
When you sign up for TeamsID, you create an individual account that is associated with your name and email address. There is no option to choose a business or personal account. We and our customers have discovered that the more we used TeamsID at work, the more we wanted to use it in our personal lives.
So TeamsID is great for sharing passwords and other sensitive records with Team members in an Organization, but it can also be used for personal use by creating records inside ‘My Safe’. Records created in this area of your account are encrypted using your personal TeamsID password and nobody else has access to them inside your Organization or outside of it.
However, if you leave your organization, you’ll need to export your My Safe personal records so you can use them again in a new account.
