How to Refresh Your Browser and Clear Your Cache and Cookies

If you get a generic error, please try the following things:

As simple as it may seem, sometimes all that is needed is to clear your browser cache or do a hard reset on your browser. This will not delete any information just simply reset your browser but will help ensure that your session tokens and cookies are up to date when loading the page.

Clearing your Cache:

Instructions for clearing your cache and cookies can be found here if you are using Google Chrome. If you are using Firefox, please try these instructions outlined here.

In the graphic below, you can see the instructions for committing a hard reset on several of the current browsers. There are instructions for both Mac and Windows users.

Other useful hints:

One other tip that can be useful not only for TeamsID, but for other sites as well, is to ensure that your browser is up to date. Sometimes there are breaking changes between browser versions that can impact how they handle your session tokens, etc. For instance, you can update your Google Chrome browser here.

Keep in mind that if you are using the new Microsoft Edge browser, this browser is built off of the Chrome engine, so some similarities in how it performs might be noticed by users who are used to the older Edge or Internet Explorer browsers.

Have you tried Incognito mode?

You can also try logging in with the incognito or private mode of these browsers.

Finally:

After completing these steps, ensure you are fully logged out by clicking app.teamsid.com/logout, and then head to the login page for TeamsID login page and attempt to sign in again.
